Emma(艾玛) has a cat. The cat’s name is Milo. Milo is small (小的) and white (白色的). Emma loves Milo very much.
艾玛有一只小猫，它的名字叫米洛。米洛又小又白。艾玛非常爱米洛。
One day, Milo runs away (逃跑). Emma looks for (寻找) Milo in the house. He is not under (在…下面) the table. He is not on the bed. Emma is very sad (伤心的).
有一天，米洛跑走了。艾玛在家里找它，可是米洛不在桌子下面，也不在床上。艾玛很难过。
Emma goes outside (外面). She calls (呼唤) Milo’s name. “Milo! Milo!” she says. But Milo does not come back (回来).
艾玛走到外面，呼唤着米洛的名字：“米洛！米洛！”但是米洛没有回来。
Then, Emma hears (听到) a small sound (声音). “Meow! Meow!” It is Milo! He is in the tree (树). He is scared (害怕的).
这时，艾玛听到了一个小声音：“喵喵！喵喵！”原来是米洛！它正躲在树上，看起来很害怕。
Emma’s father gets a ladder (梯子). He climbs (爬) the tree and helps Milo come down (下来).
艾玛的爸爸拿来一个梯子。他爬到树上，帮助米洛下来。
